C&B Custom Modular, Inc. is seeking Sales Estimator 

Company Overview

In 1997, C & B CUSTOM MODULAR, INC. was founded with the prospect of manufacturing the best quality built custom modular offices and modular classrooms produced today. C & B's combined experience and knowledge in the manufacturing of custom modular is over 90 years. C & B is very dedicated to the quality of each unit that is manufactured in our facility. Each unit undergoes a thorough inspection by our quality control department as well as licensed inspectors before a unit leaves our facility.

Job Overview

The Sales Estimator is under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Estimator would be responsible for assuming the estimating of dealer provided quotes on Commercial Modular Building Projects that are conceptual, design-build & build to spec. The individual should have a strong working knowledge and experience in the general commercial estimation process. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading, growing organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Estimator shall be responsible for the following:

- Researches all necessary special pricing, code compliance, and structural requirements of projects

- Provide support to dealer bidding projects

- Provides accurate estimates of projects for all customers assigned

- Follows up on all outstanding bids and projects

- Provides submittals for projects when necessary

- Price out all change orders and red-line changes

- Provides accurate sales release packages for Engineering

- Cultivates and maintains potential clients

- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Must be dependable and a self-starter and able to adapt to constant changes

- Knowledge of required varied commercial state and local building codes

- Knowledge of required residential state and local building codes

- Able to plan strategically with strong attention to detail

- Critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills

- Previous on-the-job training a big plus

- Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
